About Wisdom She Wrote
Founded and led by a group of besties who have come together to share our life experiences and wisdom with others. We met and became friends early in our careers, and our friendship has endured as we’ve moved to different parts of the country and navigated through different stages of our lives, including starting families.
Our goal is to provide a platform for sharing not only the fun and laughter in life but also the valuable lessons and insights we’ve gained from various experiences. This type of wisdom often comes from personal growth and learning over time, rather than from formal education or job training.
THE THING IS – WE’RE STILL LEARNING AND GAINING NEW WISDOM FROM OUR DAY TO DAY EXPERIENCES
So, we have created a space where people can come together to learn from each other’s experiences and find camaraderie in the journey of life. It’s a reminder that some of the most valuable lessons and insights in life come from our interactions with others and the shared experiences we accumulate along the way.

The Clique
Christy is a wife, mother of twin teenagers, and a career marketing leader, advisor, and mentor. A foodie in taste preference, but not in her cooking ability, she has dined at fabulous restaurants around the world, then brings home the flavors from abroad and experiments with cooking them at home (you’ll often find Captain Morgans, Kahlua or Coconut Rum are secret ingredients in her recipes – why not make every cake a rum cake?). But she’s also gluten-free and obsessive about fitting decent nutrition into her cooking, which is sometimes a disaster. She was raised on a remote island in Washington state where her family now owns a farm that hosts a local animal sanctuary and winery. A 3x CMO she lives in the Seattle area and works from home when she isn’t traveling to marketing events, her kid’s sports tournaments, a girl’s weekend, or a vacation adventure. Meet The Women Behind The Women
A mother of 3 grown kids, Betsy is an executive in the Technology, Media & Telecom space. A lifelong volunteer, she recently was a GLA Lyme Education Ambassador. Betsy enjoys inventing custom cocktail concoctions, flower arranging and healthy cooking. In the Philly ‘burbs (a lifelong Eagles fan) she and her husband enjoy gardening, binging crime shows (especially British) throwing parties, wine and travel.
Christy is a wife, mother of twin teenagers, a 3x CMO, an advisor and mentor who lives in the Seattle area. She finds joy in the everyday magic of nature and wildlife and loves to travel, cook, garden, and spend time with family and friends.
Elissa is a semi-retired mom of 2 kids and 4 pets, wife, sister, and friend; she also sits on several corporate and non-for-profit boards. A former CMO, she loves mentoring, learning, and appreciating great marketing and ideas. She runs pretty busy with all of that, but loves binging on both good and bad tv/film. And whenever she can, she travels.
Fran is a proud Italian-American and dual citizen, splitting her time between NYC and Italy. Her passions are family, friends, food and faith + theater and travel. (And finding the perfect Manhattan). Fran’s treasured memories are centered around breaking bread with her loved ones and feeding an appreciative audience (literally and figuratively). Fran started her career on the stage, but traded it in early on for a successful 40-year run in corporate America. She always says the best part of that experience is the life-long friendships made over the years.
Julie is a single mom by choice of twins, sister, friend, gardener and marketer. Besides gardening, she finds contentment in learning new things, laughing, and being around good people. She tries to stay relevant, but might miss the mark from time to time. Right now she is in a battle with her contractor and hopes to remove this aspect of her bio soon.
