Can you believe it’s already the end of 2024? What a ride it’s been! This year, we got to launch Wisdom She Wrote — our passion project — and we couldn’t have done it without you! Seriously, your support, your comments, and all the love you’ve shown this community of amazing women have made it all so worth it. Here’s to aging, growing, and thriving together (with a few laughs along the way)!

We’ve been getting in the holiday spirit by doing one of the things we love the most: shopping! (Gotcha! You were expecting us to say chocolate, wine or sex didn’t you?)

Yep, we’ve been doing a little shopping (or maybe just some wishful thinking about our own stockings). And guess what? We’ve rounded up some of our favorite finds from 2024 — the things we’ve loved, and the things we’ll be gifting to friends this year. We figured you’d be on the same hunt for the perfect little something for the women in your life, so why not share our list with you?

Got any favorites of your own? Drop them in the comments — we’d love to add them to our list. And just so you know, all of these gems are under $50. Yes, really. You’re welcome. 🎁

This fingernail polish goes on easy, dries fast and lasts. The color is light and natural with a bit of glimmer. And even when it starts wearing off or growing out, you can’t tell too much. Makes your hands look pretty and you’ll feel put together (even when you’re not). Really like all the Londontown/Kur products.” – Elissa  “I love this stuff! I have bubble and original colors and I like both.” – Christy

“Relaxing, aromatherapy for your shower. You can travel with them and they also make a great gift.” – Francine

“I always have dry hands and need travel-size hand creams. These feel so good and smell even better. They are not overly fragranced, but people remark on how good they smell. Aromatherapy and silky skin!” – Betsy

“Normally I’m skeptical about books recommended by mass media book clubs but since this one takes place in the Pacific Northwest (where I live), features an octopus as the narrator, and tells the story of healing after heartbreaking tragedy, I couldn’t resist. It’s a bittersweet, tender and easy read above summer fluff but not so high that it’s overly literary. It’s a huge bestseller so maybe you’ve read it or heard about it (and darn if the New York Times didn’t just write about it again). No matter what, it’s a great read.” – Elissa

“I got this in my stocking last Christmas and love it! An adaptogenic mushroom blend that is delicious. By January, I switched to it from my daily coffee habit and I feel so much better. No more afternoon energy drop. I just feel better. – oh and their frother is icing on the cake, I bring it with me when I travel now. Women owned business too!💜” – Christy

“If you are prone to back issues and can’t get to a massage, this muscle stimulator is a life-saver. I never go on a trip without it. Lightweight and USB.”- Francine

“This is a gift you give yourself. It’s an email app (for mobile or laptop) that will make getting through your overloaded inbox quick and easy. It’s been about 4 weeks for me and it’s a life changer. I’ve tried many different email clients and tools and nothing made much of a difference. This is the first one that helps me sail through my email.” -Elissa

“Tired of waxy lip balms? This will make your lips feel young again. It actually heals dry, cracked lips, hydrates all day and is worth the $10 tag. Your loved ones will thank you! I usually purchase mine at our local organic market. If you want to splurge, all Evan Healy products are divine!” -Betsy

“Want to “set” your eyebrows but retain a natural look? This eyebrow mascara, which comes in four colors, is for you.” – Francine

“I consider this the best secret ingredient for any cocktail that needs a bit of sweet flavor boost. Flavored with lime, almond and clove, this elevates mimosas, cosmopolitans, rum swizzles and more – anything calling for orange liquor – think Falernum instead! I use John D. Taylors but there are several brands. There is also a non-alcoholic version that boosts hot cider. Tiippleman’s Falernum Syrup. Grab some, and give some! it will change your holiday drink game.” -Betsy

“My feet are an erogenous zone. If you feel the same way, you just may love this set of foot massage balls. They’re marketed for pain but they are just as amazing at relaxing and loosening your tight, tired, exhausted feet – which then releases endorphins throughout your entire body. “ – Elissa

“If you read about my journey to minimize plastic use, you know I use mason jars to store, freeze and organize all sorts of food. This gadget is super easy to use and gives me the confidence that the jars are sealed (without having to use a pressure cooker) – perfect for extending the shelf life of my raspberries and blueberries.)” – Christy

“The true story of an American woman who became a spy during WWII. You will not be able to put it down!” – Francine

“Beautiful nail polishes that dry dazzling fast (thus the name) and are tough as nails (the other kind). Seriously, you can put shoes on 5 minutes after the top coat. Plus lots of pretty colors.” – Elissa

“This is on my own Christmas wish list. Such a dreamy collection of pink and white tulips surrounded by purple Muscari. It makes me happy to think about the promise of springtime.” – Christy

“These packing cubes are super high quality and come in fun color combinations. You’ll pack so much better with these. Even your kids will love using them.” – Elissa
